A portion of our city parks can be reserved for private events. You may reserve online at www.mccallrec.com with a major credit card OR by submitting a copy of the completed form below to 216 E. Park St. with deposit and/ full payment with cash/check. You may also read park descriptions and view photos on our Parks Department page.

PARK RENTALS
Are the parks available for rent? 
Yes. The parks listed here are available for reservation: Art Roberts Park, Brown Park, Davis Beach, Gold Glove Park, Harshman Skate Park, and Rotary Park.
How much is it to rent a park?
Small Scale event 50 or less people $160.50 per day w/ taxes and a $150 refundable deposit.
Large Scale event exceeding 50 people is $374.50 per day w/ taxes and a $150 refundable deposit 
Brown Park - Brown Park requires an additional administrative fee of $107 w/ taxes regardless for small or large event, small event is $267.50 and refundable deposit and a large event $457 and deposit.
How do I reserve a park?
Reserve Online preferred or Complete the City of McCall Parks Reservation Application and submit it with appropriate fees. Your application will be reviewed and then logged on the Park Reservation Calendar.
I have reserved a park. What time can I get to the facility to setup for our event? Please call the parks superintendent to check on maintenance schedules for the reserved parks. 208-634-6609 
What are city park hours?
Park operating hours are 6:00am till 11:00pm. Except for Harshman Skate Park and Davis Beach they will be open from sunrise until one-half hour after sunset.
Is alcohol allowed in city parks?
All such beverages are prohibited in Harshman Skatepark at all times and at all other parks when those parks are closed. Beer and wine are allowed in all other parks. Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages during July 1 through July 7 can be restricted, restrictions will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.
Is there someone present at the park to help the day of the rental?
Parks staff will be on duty and servicing the parks throughout the day. If special assistance is needed please contact the Park’s Superintendent at 208-634-6609 or Office 634-8991
Is decorating allowed?
Minimal decorating is allowed as long as it does not harm any features in the park and is cleaned up after the event.
Is it possible to have a company cater food?
You may use a caterer or food truck for your event please be sure to include this in your event plan and use a permitted food cater with a City of McCall business license/ concession vendor permit.
How many tables and chairs are available?
There are a limited amount of picnic tables and benches at most city parks. You may bring in additional tables and chairs for your event.
Are trash and recycling containers available?
Trash containers are dispersed throughout the parks. Recycling containers are currently located at Legacy Park, Gold Glove Park, and Brown Park.
How long does it take to receive a refund for the rental deposit?
Depending upon when the refund is processed and the next scheduled council meeting a refund payment may take 2-6 weeks.

Is electricity and water hookup available?
Electricity and water hook up is limited but available at Brown Park, Rotary Park, Art Roberts, Gold Glove Park and Harshman Skate Park.
Are restrooms available? 
Restrooms are located at the following parks: Brown Park, Legacy Park, Gold Glove, Art Roberts, Rotary Park, Harshman Skate Park/ Mountain Bike Skills Park and portable toilets are located at Davis Beach & Riverfront Park.
Can I reserve the volleyball court?
The volleyball court is first come first serve.

How many acres of park lands does the city own? 
70.6 acres
What is the distance of the walking paths? 
9 miles
Where can I walk in the winter?
Majority of city pathways are cleared and the McCall City Golf Course for walking. See the winter trails map here. If walking your four-legged friend please take the time to pick up after your pet.
Is Ponderosa Park and North Beach a City Park?
No, they are State run parks you can reach the state park at (208) 634-2164
Are there lifeguards at City beaches?
No, Payette Lake is a swim at your own risk.
Is there overnight boat moorage?
No, 6 hour boat moorage is allowed at city docks.
Which parks are on the waterfront?
Legacy Park, Art Roberts Park, Davis Beach, and Rotary Park.
Where can I moor my boat?
You many tie up your boat at the public docks at Art Roberts, Legacy Park, and Brown Park.
