Art Roberts Park
Art Roberts Park is a great place to relax & view Payette Lake. It features municipal docks, grassy slopes with picnic benches & a small sandy wading & swimming beach (at your own risk; there are no lifeguards). In addition to the spectacular view of the lake, Art Roberts Park is home to the first piece of public art in McCall—the five fun-loving bears.
Art Roberts Park is located downtown, due north of 2nd St. There is parking along the street in front of the park, & also behind the City Hall/Library at the top of the 2nd St. hill.
Bike Paths & Trails
McCall has an extensive trail system for exploring the community on bicycle. Be careful crossing traffic intersections & bridge overpasses—always remember bicycle safety.
Brown Park
Brown Park, the former location of the McCall Mill, is a great place for family outings. A shoreline path encompasses the picnic tables, public restrooms, benches & children’s playground facilities (provided by generous private donations & volunteer help).
Brown Park is located north of the corner of E Lake St. & Hemlock St., generally north along Payette Lake from the Sports Marina. There is no vehicle parking adjacent to the Park. Users should park along Hemlock St. & E Lake St. Please be courteous to the owners of property in the vicinity & avoid blocking narrow streets & driveways.
Davis Beach
Outside of the downtown area, Davis Beach is a quieter area favored by families & nearby cabin owners. Whether under the shade of scattered pine trees or basking in the sun, the sand & water offer many diverse activities for all ages. The swimming area is at your own risk; there are no lifeguards. There are also public restrooms & two docks, which are privately maintained & owned, but open to courteous public pedestrian use. Boat mooring is limited to the dock & cabin owners, whose predecessors constructed the docks before the park was deeded to the city. In addition, one of the city's domestic water pumping stations is at the far south end of this Park.
Davis Beach Park is located at the west end of Diamond St. off Davis St. near Lick Creek Rd. Users should park in the municipal lot at the southeast corner of Lick Creek Rd. & Davis St., walk north along Davis St. & west on Diamond St. Please be courteous to the owners of property in the vicinity & avoid blocking narrow streets & driveways.
Fairway Park
If you are looking to catch a local baseball game or play a friendly game of kickball, Fairway Park is the place to be. Sporting events are encouraged on these diamonds! The baseball diamonds of Fairway Park are located on the corner of Fairway Dr. & Davis Ave.
Fish Pen Docks
The Fish Pen Docks are the place to see & learn about fish ecology. This area is a fingerling trout holding & feeding area from June to September. Idaho Fish & Game provides an opportunity for firsthand education about fish.
The Fish Pen Docks are at Brown Park.
Harshman Skate Park

Historical Museum
The Historical Museum is an excellent place for recreation & learning. Along with the visitor’s center & heritage room, there are tours of the fire warden’s house at the Historical Museum. This site also contains an informational kiosk & day-use area with walking paths & picnic sites, public restrooms, several historical buildings & a used bookspace. Cultural tours of McCall leave from this location daily.
The Historical Museum is located along W Lake St., with an entrance on State St. N. The parking lot is RV accessible.
Legacy Park
Near the downtown shopping area, Legacy Park is the premier central location for summer recreation. Amenities include a volleyball court, picnic tables for relaxation, an enclosed swimming area (at your own risk; there are no lifeguards), public restrooms & a public boat ramp for watercraft. Recently built with the proceeds of a bond sale, the Park is intended as a centerpiece of the community. Be careful of the landscaped areas where extensive vegetation is establishing itself.
Legacy Park is located downtown, at the bend north of Hotel McCall on E Lake St. There is a parking lot just east of the Park, with additional parking adjacent to E Lake St. & behind City Hall at the top of 2nd St. Please be courteous to the owners of businesses in the vicinity by avoiding use of parking in front of their places of business.
Rotary Park
With what began as a Rotary International Club improvement site, this park has become highly visible & noted for its aesthetic location on the lake. Rotary Park is great for families—the beach & playground facilities provide excellent recreational opportunities. There is a grassy patch, public restrooms, picnic tables & a swimming beach (at your own risk; there are no lifeguards).
Rotary Park is located at the east end of Lardo Bridge, between Highway 55 & Payette Lake, where the N Fork Payette River exits the Lake at Lardo Bridge. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the Park.
Veteran's Memorial at Community Park
In commemoration of the McCall area veterans & those individuals who have served in the military, a war memorial & brick pathway is proudly positioned in Community Park. Located on the corner of the park & adjacent to the war memorial is the old McCall jail, which is currently being restored. Both landmarks are of historical & cultural significance to the people of McCall.
Veteran's Memorial Park is located on the southwest corner of Lenora St. E & 3rd St., heading south towards Cascade. Parking can be found across the street in the Railroad Ave. public parking lot.
