An update on the February 18th incident at 100 Block of Eagle Shores Ct in McCall, Idaho. 

 

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at approximately 4:05 p.m., McCall Police Department officers and Valley County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 100 block of Eagle Shores Court in McCall. As reported, officers located an injured female and an injured male and provided immediate medical assistance to both individuals. McCall Fire and EMS also responded and provided emergency medical care before transporting the injured male to St. Luke’s McCall for further medical attention. The female, identified as Lynne Ellen Dooley, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Later that evening, the 55-year-old male and husband of Lynne Ellen Dooley, identified as Mark Edward Dooley, was transported from St. Luke’s McCall to St. Alphonsus in Boise for additional medical attention and survived his injuries. Upon discharge today, Mark Edward Dooley was arrested on a Valley County arrest warrant for Murder in the First Degree (Idaho Code 18-4001, 4003) and booked into the Ada County Jail. Mark Edward Dooley is expected to be extradited to Valley County, where he will be arraigned on the charge of Murder in the First Degree and booked into the Valley County Jail.

 

The investigation into this incident is ongoing and future press releases through the McCall Police Department or the City of McCall are not expected. Investigative questions should be routed to the Idaho State Police or the Valley County Prosecutor’s Office. We ask you to respect the privacy of the family in our small community during this tragedy.
