On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at approximately 4:05 p.m., McCall Police Department officers and Valley County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence incident in the 100 block of Eagle Shores Court in McCall. While en route, officers were advised of shots fired within the home. Arriving officers located an injured female and an injured male and provided immediate medical assistance to both individuals. McCall Fire and EMS also responded and provided emergency medical care before transporting the injured male to St. Luke’s McCall for further medical attention. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The McCall Police requested investigative assistance from the Idaho State Police. They will be the contact for investigative questions.

As of this release, no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made in relation to the incident. Should that change, an updated press release will be issued.

McCall Police believes this was an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to our community. The McCall Police Department expresses its condolences to those affected by this tragedy and encourages victims of domestic violence to report all incidents to law enforcement.
