Dog Licensing

City of McCall requires all dogs over the age of 4 months be licensed.

Licenses are issued annually, expiring December 31st of each year.

To obtain a license the following items are required:

A valid rabies vaccination certificate,

Proof of spay or neuter, if applicable.

Fees:

One Year License: $10.00 for spayed or neutered (altered) dogs, $25.00 for intact dogs.

Two Year License: $20.00 for spayed or neutered (altered) dogs, $50.00 for intact dogs

Three Year License: $30.00 for spayed or neutered (altered) dogs, $75.00 for intact dogs.

$25.00 for a Kennel License  A residence with 4 or more dogs requires a kennel license.

Dog owners have a “grace period” until January 15th to purchase a dog license at the regular fee rate.

City License is required to be worn on the dog’s collar.

A rabies tag on a dog’s collar is not a city dog license.

The purchase of a dog license is beneficial to your dog and your community. Dogs wearing collars with a City License have a better chance of being returned to their owners.

The City of McCall does not license cats or other household pets.

Licenses must be purchased through the City of McCall Police Department from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday- Friday. The McCall Police Department is located at:
