The City of McCall seeks a qualified individual to fill one position as a Water Operator I, II, or III. Position level (I, II, or III) offered will depend on applicant qualifications and licensure. Selected individual will perform semi-skilled maintenance, installation, inspection and service work on City water systems, and will use a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, hand and power tools in an outdoor environment to complete assigned work. Acceptable qualifications include: High school graduate or equivalent, valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a class “B” CDL. Must be able to respond to call in within 30 minutes. Operator I qualifications – 1 year of relevant experience preferred, obtain IBOL operator in training license within 6 months of hire. Operator II qualifications – three years of experience preferred and hold IBOL class II Water License. Operator III qualifications – 4 years of experience preferred and hold IBOL class III Water License. Starting Wage - Operator I $22.00 to $23.25 per hour, Operator II $23.49 to $25.11, Operator III $27.39 to $29.28, wage may vary depending on qualifications. The City of McCall is an EOE/DFW/IVP.
