On March 11, 2021, City Council voted to place the McCall Public Library Expansion on the ballot, May 18, 2021. The new bond proposal was reduced by $2M when compared to 2020. The Expansion Project changed substantially in response to voter feedback in both scope and cost. Finding alternate funding sources was the key to reducing the impact on voters. 

• The total project cost is $6.5 Million.
• A large portion of the estimated project cost will be paid for by the city's cash on hand, grants, and Library Foundation pledges received totaling $2.3M.
• The proposed cost that voters will see on their ballots will be $4.2 Million.
• Proposed Tax Impact per $100,000 Assessed Value would be $15.98.
