December Patron of the Month
Mike Kiely

Mike Kiely is a loyal and enthusiastic user of the McCall library. He is an avid reader and traveler. He often uses our Inter-Library Loan service to borrow books from other libraries, and is happy when we can get almost any book he requests! As an Idaho native, he also loves to check out autobiographies from our Idaho Room to add to his extensive knowledge about our community.

Since retiring from McCall Donnelly School District, Mike and his wife Sevilla have traveled to 38 countries! They enjoy attending our Travelogue series, and we hope to convince Mike to give his own Travelogue soon! In the meantime, we know we can find him at the “NEW RELEASES” shelf.  Happy Holidays, Mike!

Expanding our 45 year old Public Library to better serve McCall.

The McCall City Council will be voting on February 27,2020 regarding a proposed bond election option that would take the McCall Public Library Expansion project funding to the voters for approval. Your library was originally evaluated as inadequate in 2016, and after much public involvement, volunteer committee work, fundraising, grant writing and a large group of talented designers, construction specialists and library professionals this dream of an improved library to better serve the community is at the final stage.
