The Communications Manager serves residents and members of the media by keeping them apprised of the latest news, events, and announcements coming out of the City of McCall. The office coordinates content across many different channels both digital and print. Communications maintains review of all public promotional materials, social media, and web presence.
The Communication office also facilitates public participation efforts throughout the year, helping to empower residents to have a stake in their local government through civic engagement. The office works closely with the City Manager's Office on strategic communications efforts each year and assists with internal city communications when needed.
The Communications Manager serves as media liaison by writing press releases, hosting press, responding to questions from reporters, and coordinating interviews and in McCall acts as the assistant to the McCall City Manager as well as the liaison between the media and all city departments.
