The Library Expansion Project is officially under construction.
WE ARE OPEN!
The project to build a new, state-of-the-art library to serve the community for the next 50 years and beyond, expected to take two years, began with a ceremonial demolition of the old fire station. The building was removed to make room for the new structure that will front the existing library. Our team is now building the new library in front of the existing library and parking will be added on the east side. The new build will take 1½ years. Then, the existing library will be renovated. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by November 2024.
Thanks to our City of McCall Voters and generous donors the library is expanding.
