Lindley Kirkpatrick was hired as City Manager in July 2004. He had
worked for the City as the Community Development Director since 1999
and as Deputy City Manager since 2003. He holds degrees in
Environmental Design and Urban Planning & Development from Ball State
University, in Muncie, Indiana. Lindley has also worked as a planner
at the municipal, county and regional levels in Idaho, New Hampshire
and Ohio.

Shirley Overton
Shirley Overton is originally from the Buffalo, New York area, and
moved to McCall in September 2000, via New England, South Carolina,
and Arizona. She has a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY at Cortland, and a
Master’s degree from Boston University, both in Physical Education,
and taught High School Physical Education in New York and New
Hampshire for 20 years.
She became the City's Customer Service Specialist in August 2001,
after working in the Hotel Industry in customer service both in South
Carolina and Arizona.
Shirley enjoys outdoor activities, including sailing, camping,
swimming, skiing, and traveling. Her husband, Paul, is a Ski
Instructor at Brundage Mountain.

Librarian: Anne Kantola
Anne was born and raised in Southern California.
She attended college at the University of Idaho, earning a Bachelor of
Science in Education.
While in college, met and married Joe Kantola from McCall in 1963. Joe
is the son of Meryl and Rayno Kantola, lifelong McCall residents.
Both Anne and Joe are school teachers, and taught in several states
before settling in Grants Pass, Oregon for 15 years. Anne received a
Masters of Education from Southern Oregon State College in 1974.
The family moved to Cody, Wyoming in 1983, and Joe continued to teach
instrumental and choral music, while Anne worked in the Park County
Library System as Children’s Librarian.
They elected to work in overseas schools in 1988, and joined the
faculty of Jakarta International School, where they have been working
ever since, Anne as the High School Librarian, Joe as the Instrumental
Music director.
They have two children, Kiersten Barber, who lives in McCall and owns
her own business, and Brian, who lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Anne returned to McCall in 2001 after 13 years overseas, to take on
the top post at the McCall Public Library.

Golf
Superintendent: Eric
McCormick
Eric began working for the city in the summer of 2006. He is a
native of Idaho and his family has had a cabin in McCall since the
1940s. He farmed for 16 years in the Parma area before beginning his
golf management career.
His golf course experience is from courses such as Purple Sage,
Meadow Creek, and Scotch Pines. He served as Superintendent at Scotch
Pines from 1995-2006.
He attended the Professional Golf Turf Management Program through
Rutgers University, graduating with Honors. He continues to be an
active member of the National GCSAA and is a past president of the
Idaho Golf Course Superintendents Association.
He enjoys water skiing, flying, golf and just being outdoors.

John Anderson has over 30 years of experience in aviation including
being an Air Force Officer and pilot, and serving as Airport Manager
from small to large airports. He obtained a Bachelor of Science
majoring in Economics from the University of Oregon, and a Master of
Public Administration from Golden Gate University.

Simmonds
David joined the City staff in 2000. He has been in the IT field
for over 10 years, and is GSEC and GCFW certified. He studied
electronic engineering, fine arts, and baroque stringed instrument
making, before moving to the McCall area in the 1970's.
His interests include birding, hiking, flying, conservation issues,
gardening, sailing, and music, most of which he shares with his spouse
of many years, Jamie Melbo.
