Utility Systems & Services Worker
Looking for vacation and health benefits as well as steady

The City of McCall seeks a qualified individual to fill the
permanent, full-time position of Utility Systems & Services Worker.
The selected individual will perform installation, maintenance,
inspection and repair work on City water distribution and sewer
collection systems as well operate streets and snow removal equipment.
This position requires a physical stature that enables essential
functions of this job to be performed in confined spaces. This
individual must be a high school graduate or equivalent, and hold a
current Idaho Class “B” CDL. Water or wastewater system experience is
preferred and applicant must be able to obtain Idaho Class I Water
Distribution or Sewer Collection certification within one year of
hire. Salary is $14.51 to $15.38 per hour DOE, plus an excellent

Director of Public Works
The City of McCall, an Equal Opportunity Employer, seeks a
qualified, talented individual to fill the position of Director of
Public Works under the general supervision of the City Manager. The
selected individual will lead the activities and operations of the
multiple divisions of the Public Works Department. This individual
will be responsible for Public Works operations; capital improvement
project engineering and administration; transportation planning and
engineering; water and sewer system operations and planning; and
right-of-ways and utility planning and operations; oversees
subordinate supervisors for all Public Works divisions and crews.
The ideal candidate will have been a Public Works Director in a
comparably-sized city organization or, will have a Civil Engineering
background with applicable experience in municipality type planning
and construction including water treatment plant and sewer district
operations. A strong business management background with budget
construction and project design required. Must be able to demonstrate
a strong understanding of all aspects of development review, public
works and engineering. He/She will have a proven track record of
leadership skills and a track record of implementing policies and
systems to create a high performance organizational culture. Must be
able to communicate clearly through excellent written and oral
communications to a wide variety of communications and maintain a
consistent display of professionalism in all aspects. This is a
salaried position with a starting pay range of at $68,183 to $72,274

Recreation Aide
The City of McCall seeks an energetic individual to fill the
part-time, temporary position of Recreation Aide from June – August
2010. 1-2 years experience in general Recreation programming desired.
Experience maintaining sports fields and officiating sports games is
also desired. Valid Idaho driver’s license required. The City of

The City of McCall is a rapidly growing four season resort
community located in the central mountains of Idaho, approximately 100
miles north of Boise. Nationally recognized for its beautiful location

The City seeks 4 qualified individuals to fill the position of
Police Officer. The selected individuals will read, interpret, and
enforce state, city and county laws. Must be willing/able to work with
the public, have the ability to remain calm, exercise good judgment,
and follow instructions, have excellent, reading, writing and
listening skills, and willing to work a variable schedule including
nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to obtain POST
certification and be able to pass a police background check,
psychological exam, oral interview, and polygraph test. Starting
salary is $39,561 to $48,686. Compensation is dependent on experience
and includes exceptional benefits package.
